Response Message List
A "letters list"
has been set up to enable rapid response to letters and articles printed
in the press.
The idea is
that the "coordinators" will select up to about 6 letters or news items
each week to send to list-members. These will be from both UK
and other press.
Each list member
will be "obliged" to respond to at least one item each week and send
a copy to the "coordinators." If it is found that a list-member
is not fulfilling this obligation for weeks at a time, the person may
be taken off the list.
In other words,
it will be no place for lurkers!
In fact, the
likelihood is that many of these items will also appear on UKCIA or
CLCIA lists and most on MAPE, but by establishing a list of active and
regular letter-writers we be helping each other get our message across.
Even if your letters are not themselves always printed it will help
get others onto the pages.
